About Persimmon:
A persimmon, known to the ancient Greeks as "Food of the Gods". Persimmons are generally light yellow-orange to dark red-orange in color, and depending on the species, vary in size from 1.5-9 cm (0.5-4 in) diameter, and may be spherical, acorn-, or pumpkin-shaped. They are high in glucose, with a balanced protein profile, and possess various medicinal and chemical uses. Persimmons are eaten fresh or dried, raw or cooked. When eaten fresh the peel is usually cut/peeled off and the fruit is often cut into quarters or eaten whole like an apple. It can be used in cookies, cakes, puddings, salads and as a topping for breakfast cereal.

Hi Trupti,
Your picture of persimmons appears to be copied from here:

I think it is inappropriate and unethical to use a picture from somebody else's blog without their permission, and without giving due credit to them. Ofcourse, you being a regular food blogger might already be aware of this, and this could be a stray mistake. So I thought I'd bring it to your notice. Hope you correct it soon.
Hello Priya,
I thought I mentioned the Photo Source while writing this post. Thanks for noticing me my mistake.
