Dabeli Masala


Ingredients:
Dry Red Chilli: 1
Dhania/Coriander Seeds: 1 tsp
Cinnamon Stick: 1/2 inch
Cloves: 2
Jeera/Cumin Seeds: 1/4 tsp

Procedure:
1. Roast all ingredients in a pan for 2-3 minutes.
2. Grind to fine powder.
3. Store in a air tight container & use as required.

Hi Trupti, i just bought some back from baroda when i went to india last month but haven't tried it yet. i think mine has peanuts in the spice mix... i prefer to have the peanuts as a topping rather than blended in with the spices... i'll let you know how it fares, thanks for posting the recipe!

Hi Pooja,
I bought red chillies a month ago & put chillies in container. I am not able to remember the name of that brand. I think you can use any type of red chillies.

Yes, homemade masala gives original taste. Now you have recipe for dabeli masala & dabeli..you can try some & let me know ..if you like it or not
